About This

• Dog Rose Seeds for Planting: Grow Rosa canina from wild rose seeds for delicate pink to white five petal flowers, arching thorny stems and brilliant red rose hips. These flowering shrub seeds are ideal for wildlife gardens, informal hedges, naturalized landscapes and pollinator friendly plantings
• Rosa Canina Wild Rose Seeds: Dog Rose is a vigorous deciduous shrub known for simple open flowers in soft shades of pink to nearly white. Blossoms appear against green compound foliage and can attract visiting pollinators before developing into colorful hips later in the season
• Bright Red Rose Hips: After successful flowering and pollination, mature plants develop oval red to orange red rose hips that create attractive late season color. The hips can remain noticeable after flowering and also provide a food source used by wildlife
• Flowering Shrub for Hedges and Wildlife Gardens: Long arching stems develop prickles and can form substantial shrubs suitable for informal hedges and naturalized areas. Give mature plants adequate room and check local recommendations because Rosa canina can spread where conditions are favorable
• Seeds Require Patience and Stratification: Rose seeds have natural dormancy and typically require appropriate warm and cold stratification before germination. Grow seedlings in well drained soil with abundant sunlight and regular moisture during establishment, allowing adequate space for mature shrub growth | 100 Seeds
