About This

• Italian Heirloom Variety: These Japanese eggplant seeds grow upright 30-inch plants with mild, firm, dark purple chinese eggplant plants live reaching about 9 inches; ideal vegetable seeds for planting outdoors for warm gardens.
• Indoor Start Recommended: Sow eggplant seeds for planting 1/4" deep 8–10 weeks before the last frost; keep near 80°F, provide bright light for these veggie seeds, and transplant when soil and air reach 70°F.
• Productive Summer Growth: Space eggplant garden seeds 2–3 feet apart in full sun and well-drained soil; these egg plant seeds for planting outdoors perform well in USDA zones 5–12 and containers. Suitable plant seeds for outdoor gardening.
• Harvest in 70–80 Days: Pick long eggplant when the glossy skin yields slightly to gentle pressure, preferably near half its mature size for tender texture; harvested eggplant fresh keeps up to 1 week chilled. Perfect gardening seeds that produce abundant fresh eggplants.
• Heat-Loving Container Crop: Keep soil evenly moist for these vegetable plants & seeds, mulch established plants, and feed monthly; these Non-GMO eggplant heirloom seeds suit a indoor vegetable garden, raised beds, and pots in cooler northern climates.
