About This

• What You Will Receive: You will receive a Pack of 2 vigorous Pentas 'Ruby Glow' starter plants, each currently 5-9 inches tall. Shipped bare-root and ready to plant, these established starts bypass the slow seedling phase, ready to grow rapidly into tall, blooming specimens for your garden.
• A Dramatic Red Showstopper: Add vertical impact and fiery color to your landscape. 'Ruby Glow' is an heirloom variety prized for its brilliant ruby-red, star-shaped flowers featuring distinct white centers (eyes). Unlike modern dwarf varieties, this plant grows tall and lush, making it an exceptional choice for the back of garden borders.
• The #1 Hummingbird Attractor: Nature has a favorite color, and it is red. The vibrant scarlet hue of 'Ruby Glow' acts as a visual beacon for hummingbirds, while the nectar-rich tubular flowers keep butterflies returning all day. Planting these is the fastest way to increase wildlife activity in your yard.
• Thrives in Blistering Heat: Stop worrying about wilted summer gardens. Native to Africa, the Egyptian Starcluster is built for heat. When other bedding plants surrender to the August sun, 'Ruby Glow' flourishes, producing large flower clusters continuously from late spring until the first frost.
• Versatile Landscape Performer: Because 'Ruby Glow' grows taller than compact hybrids (reaching 18-24+ inches), it is perfect for adding height to large patio containers or creating depth in flower beds. It provides a "thriller" element that stands above lower-growing annuals.
• Care Instructions: Upon arrival, unwrap gently and soak roots in room-temperature water for 20 minutes. Plant in fertile, well-draining soil in a location with 6+ hours of sun. Water regularly to establish. This variety benefits from occasional deadheading (removing old blooms) to encourage massive new flower heads.
• Safe Arrival Guarantee: We ship using eco-friendly, secure packaging designed to protect the root system and retain moisture. While some minor leaf wilt is normal due to shipping stress, we guarantee your plants arrive with healthy, viable roots ready to hydrate and grow.
