About This

Compact Size: Golden Acre cabbage is known for its small, compact head, making it ideal for home gardens where space might be limited. Its heads typically weigh between 1 to 2 pounds.
Quick Maturity: This variety is prized for its rapid growth, usually taking about 60-70 days from transplanting to reach maturity. This quick turnaround makes it a popular choice for both commercial and home growers.
Smooth, Round Heads: Golden Acre cabbage forms smooth, round heads with tightly packed leaves. The color ranges from light to medium green, with a texture that's excellent for fresh eating.
Crisp and Tender: Its leaves are noted for being crisp yet tender, making it a favorite for salads, slaws, or as a fresh vegetable snack. While it can be cooked, its texture and flavor are best enjoyed raw.
