About This

• Estella Rijnveld Parrot Tulip Bulbs – Tulipa ‘Estella Rijnveld’ produces large scarlet-red and white flowers with dramatically fringed, curled and feathered petals; this distinctive Parrot tulip typically reaches about 18–22 inches tall and creates bold mid- to late-spring color in beds, borders and cutting gardens
• Naturally Varied Red & White Blooms – Each flower develops its own pattern of brilliant red and prominent white flames, sometimes accompanied by subtle green markings; the irregularly cut and ruffled petal edges create the exotic flower shape that distinguishes Parrot tulips from traditional tulip forms
• Large Late-Spring Flowers – Estella Rijnveld produces substantial flowers that open wider in sunny conditions, revealing more of their dramatic coloration and intricate petal structure; a sheltered location can help protect the large blooms from strong winds and heavy spring weather
• Excellent Cut-Flower Variety – The unusual feathered blooms and approximately 20-inch stems make Estella Rijnveld useful for fresh arrangements as well as garden displays; harvest stems as buds develop color and place promptly into clean, fresh water for indoor enjoyment
• Fall-Planted Spring Bulbs – Plant approximately 6 inches deep and 4–6 inches apart in fertile, well-drained soil with the pointed end upward; choose full sun to light partial shade and avoid waterlogged locations, especially during winter dormancy
