About This

For sale is a Black Velvet Gooseberry that is approximately 6-12" tall
RICH DESSERT FLAVOR - Large wine red to near black berries taste like a gooseberry crossed with a black currant, sweet enough to eat fresh
FRUITS ON ITS OWN - Self pollinating, so a single plant produces without needing a second variety nearby
COLD HARDY PRODUCER - Reliable through USDA Zone 3 and heavy cropping usually starts just two to three years after planting
CROPS IN PART SHADE - One of the few fruiting shrubs that still yields well with only a few hours of direct sun
