About This
- BLACKIE SWEET POTATO VINE – ‘Blackie’ is a striking ornamental sweet potato vine featuring dramatic, deeply lobed foliage in rich purple to nearly black shades.
- FAST-GROWING TRAILING PLANT – Vigorous vines quickly develop into a lush cascade of dark foliage, making Blackie an excellent spiller for containers, hanging baskets, window boxes and large mixed planters.
- DRAMATIC DARK FOLIAGE – The almost-black leaves create powerful contrast when paired with bright flowers, chartreuse foliage, coleus, petunias and other colorful annuals.
- GREAT FOR CONTAINERS & LANDSCAPES – Grow Blackie as a trailing container plant or allow it to spread across garden beds as a colorful ornamental ground cover. Its vigorous growth can fill open spaces quickly during warm weather.
