About This

Mild Heat Level: Anaheim chiles are super approachable with a gentle kick of 500–2,500 Scoville Heat Units, making them way milder than jalapeños and perfect for spice-sensitive taste buds who still want a little excitement!
Fresh & Flavorful Profile: When green and crisp, they deliver a bright, grassy taste with subtle sweetness and a hint of tang—great for snacking raw or adding fresh crunch to salsas and salads.
Roasting Superstars: Roasting or grilling transforms their tough skins into easy-to-peel perfection, unlocking a delicious smoky, earthy sweetness that makes them the MVP of dishes like chiles rellenos, enchilada sauces, and green chile stews.
Color & Ripeness Options: Start out vibrant green, but let them ripen to a rich red and they get even sweeter with a touch more heat—red Anaheims are fantastic for drying into chili flakes or powders.
