About This

• Baobab Tree Seeds for Planting: Grow an iconic tropical tree from exotic seeds for a massive water storing trunk, distinctive branching and unusual sculptural form. These baobab seeds are ideal for collectors, tropical plant enthusiasts, large containers and long term bonsai projects
• Exotic Baobab Bonsai Seeds: Baobab trees are famous for their extraordinarily thick trunks and dramatic silhouettes, giving mature specimens an appearance unlike ordinary landscape trees. Container culture and careful pruning can be used to maintain young plants at a manageable size
• Distinctive Water Storing Trunk: Baobabs are adapted to strongly seasonal climates and mature trees develop swollen trunks capable of storing water. Seed grown plants gradually develop their characteristic woody form, making them fascinating long term specimen plants
• Unique Collector Tree: Young baobabs can be grown in containers where cold winters prevent permanent outdoor planting. Their thickening trunks, branching structure and unusual proportions make them especially interesting for bonsai inspired training and exotic plant collections
• Warm Conditions for Growing: Prepare the hard seed coat before sowing and plant in warm well drained growing media. Provide bright light and careful moisture during establishment, avoid persistently saturated soil and protect this tropical plant from frost and freezing temperatures | 7 Seeds
