About This

• American Wisteria Seeds for Planting: Grow Wisteria frutescens from native flowering vine seeds for cascading purple flower clusters and vigorous twining growth. These perennial vine seeds are ideal for sturdy pergolas, arbors, trellises, fences and long term ornamental garden projects
• Wisteria Frutescens Native Vine Seeds: American Wisteria is native to the southeastern United States and produces attractive compound foliage with clusters of purple to violet flowers. It is generally less aggressive than the commonly grown Asian wisteria species while still developing substantial climbing growth
• Cascading Purple Flower Clusters: Established vines can produce showy hanging clusters of pea shaped flowers against dense green foliage. Flowering requires maturity, and seed grown wisteria may take several years before producing its first significant bloom display
• Strong Twining Perennial Vine: Wisteria develops woody stems that become increasingly substantial with age, so provide a strong permanent structure rather than lightweight garden support. Regular pruning can help manage growth and encourage a more controlled ornamental form
• Prepare Seeds Before Sowing: Wisteria seeds have a hard coat and can benefit from scarification and soaking before planting in moist well drained growing media. Grow in full sun for strongest flowering, provide regular moisture during establishment and protect young plants while roots develop | 5 Seeds
