About This

• Malabar Spinach Seeds for Planting: Grow Basella alba from heat loving climbing vegetable seeds for thick edible leaves and tender stems throughout warm summer weather. This generous seed quantity is ideal for trellises, raised beds, larger vegetable gardens and repeated seasonal plantings
• Basella Alba Climbing Leafy Green Seeds: Malabar Spinach is a tropical vine grown for succulent leaves and stems rather than a true spinach. Unlike cool season spinach, it thrives in summer heat and produces vigorous leafy growth when temperatures are consistently warm
• Edible Leaves for Summer Harvests: Harvest young leaves and tender stem tips for fresh or cooked dishes. The succulent foliage has a naturally mucilaginous quality when cooked and can be harvested repeatedly from established vines throughout the warm growing season
• Vigorous Vines for Trellises: Plants develop long twining stems that benefit from sturdy vertical support, helping maximize growing space while keeping foliage accessible for harvesting. Attractive green vines can combine edible production with lush ornamental garden coverage
• Grow in Full Sun and Warm Conditions: Sow after weather and soil have warmed or start indoors before transplanting. Plant in fertile well drained soil, provide consistent moisture and give developing vines a trellis or other sturdy support for vigorous summer growth | 500 Seeds
