LIVE 10+ INCH STARTER TREE: Receive one live Arbequina olive tree grown in a compact 2-inch nursery plug and measuring at least 10 inches tall before shipment. This is a young starter plant and will not arrive with flowers or fruit. Natural size, branching and foliage may vary.
FRUITING SPANISH OLIVE VARIETY: Arbequina is a popular Spanish olive cultivar producing small olives that mature from green to reddish-brown or dark purple. The fruit is valued for its mild, fruity flavor and aromatic oil. Fresh olives must be properly cured or processed before eating.
SELF-FRUITING OLIVE TREE: Arbequina is considered self-fruiting, so one mature tree can produce olives without a separate pollinator. Growing another compatible olive cultivar nearby may support improved pollination and fruit production. Fruiting depends on maturity, climate and proper care.
FULL SUN AND WARM CONDITIONS: Place the tree where it receives at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight each day. Arbequina thrives in warm locations with hot, relatively dry summers. Grow outdoors in suitable climates or keep it in a large container that can be protected during freezing weather.
WELL-DRAINED SOIL AND CAREFUL WATERING: Transplant into loose, fast-draining soil and a container with drainage holes.
