About This

• Fragrant Pink Roses: 100 Rugosa Rose seeds for planting grow into hardy perennial flowering shrubs with fragrant pink to rosy pink flowers, wrinkled deep green foliage and colorful red rose hips. Rosa rugosa adds flowers, fragrance and seasonal color to sunny gardens and landscape plantings
• Large Red Rose Hips: Fragrant pink flowers are followed by distinctive rounded hips that mature to orange-red or bright red. The combination of colorful blooms, yellow flower centers, textured green leaves and showy hips provides changing visual interest as the growing season progresses
• Hardy Flowering Shrub: Rugosa Rose typically develops into a dense, rounded shrub approximately 4 to 6 feet tall and wide. Thorny stems and strongly textured foliage create substantial growth, while established plants are known for excellent tolerance of cold, wind and challenging conditions
• Fragrant 2 to 4 Inch Blooms: Single Rugosa Rose flowers are generally about 2 to 4 inches across with broad pink petals surrounding prominent golden yellow stamens. Their open flower shape makes the blooms easily accessible to visiting bees and other garden pollinators
• Sun and Soil Tolerant: Grow in full sun for abundant flowering, although plants tolerate some partial shade. Established Rugosa Roses are adaptable to several soil types and are especially noted for tolerating sandy conditions, wind and salt spray better than many garden roses
