About This

• Woods Rose Seeds for Planting: Grow beautiful native wild rose shrubs that produce fragrant pink flowers followed by bright red rose hips. Excellent for pollinator gardens, wildlife habitats, native landscapes, flowering hedges, privacy screens, woodland borders, and naturalized plantings. A beautiful North American native that provides ornamental beauty while supporting local ecosystems.
• Fragrant blooms followed by colorful rose hips: Soft pink flowers bloom in late spring and early summer before developing clusters of bright red rose hips that persist into fall. Mature shrubs typically grow 4 to 8 feet tall with a naturally rounded growth habit, creating outstanding seasonal interest.
• Excellent for pollinators and wildlife: Fragrant flowers attract honey bees, native bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators, while the nutritious rose hips provide an important food source for birds and wildlife during fall and winter months.
• Easy to grow native shrub: Thrives in full sun to partial shade and adapts to a wide range of well-drained soils. Once established, Woods Rose is drought tolerant, cold hardy, and requires very little maintenance to remain healthy and productive.
• Perfect for natural landscapes: Ideal for native gardens, flowering hedges, erosion control, woodland edges, shelterbelts, wildlife habitats, and restoration projects. Dense branching creates valuable nesting cover while adding beauty throughout the seasons.
