About This

• Fast Growing Trailing Houseplant: This vigorous grower quickly develops long cascading vines that typically reach 12 to 24 inches indoors and may grow even longer with proper care. Its naturally trailing habit makes it ideal for hanging baskets, elevated planters, bookshelves, window ledges, and decorative containers where the colorful vines can spill over the edges.
• Striking Purple and Silver Foliage: Tradescantia Zebrina is prized for its shimmering silver stripes, rich purple undersides, and deep green foliage that creates eye-catching contrast throughout the plant. Bright, indirect light helps maintain the bold variegation and vibrant color that makes this variety one of the most recognizable trailing houseplants.
• Easy to Root and Propagate: Tradescantia Zebrina is one of the easiest houseplants to propagate, making it an excellent choice for beginners and experienced plant enthusiasts alike. Simply place cuttings in water or moist potting soil, and roots commonly begin developing within 1 to 3 weeks under proper conditions. Mature plants can be continually trimmed and propagated to create additional plants.
• Low Maintenance Indoor Plant: Thrives in bright, indirect sunlight and adapts well to typical indoor temperatures between 60°F and 80°F. Water when the top inch of soil begins to dry after rooting and use well-draining soil to support healthy root development. Occasional pinching encourages fuller, bushier plants with increased branching.
• Perfect for Home and Office Décor: The colorful cascading vines add texture and year-round interest to living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, offices, classrooms, dorm rooms, and apartments. Their compact root system also makes them well suited for smaller decorative containers and indoor plant shelves.
• Fresh Live Plant Cuttings: Plants are shipped as live, unrooted stem cuttings without pots or soil to help ensure safe shipping and successful propagation. Rooting time varies depending on temperature, humidity, and growing conditions, but healthy roots typically begin forming within several weeks.
• Please Note: Plants may arrive with or without established roots depending on the season. No worries—easy-to-follow rooting and planting instructions are included!
