About This

• Hummingbird and pollinator vine: Tubular red-coral flowers bloom spring through summer and attract hummingbirds and butterflies; bright red berries appear in fall and winter to draw songbirds for four-season wildlife value
• Native, non-invasive climber: Lonicera sempervirens is native to eastern North America; a responsible choice for wildlife and pollinator gardens that will not spread aggressively into surrounding areas
• Wide hardiness range: Cold hardy to Zone 4 and evergreen in warm climates; thrives across Zones 4-10 and may die back in colder zones before reliably re-sprouting from roots each spring
• Versatile landscape use: Grows 15-20 ft. tall on fences, trellises, arbors, and walls; can also be trained as a ground cover on slopes or grown in large containers on patios and decks
• Low maintenance once established: Drought tolerant after the first growing season; largely pest-free; prune in early spring to encourage full new growth and keep the vine tidy at the base
