About This

• Distinctive Coloring: Picotee Cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus) are notable for their unique petal edges, which feature a contrasting color, often darker than the rest of the petal, giving them a painted or edged appearance.
• Variety and Colors: They come in a variety of colors, typically in shades of pink, white, and red, with edges that can be dark pink, red, or nearly black. This edge coloration makes them particularly attractive in garden settings.
• Growth Habit: These wildflowers are annuals, meaning they complete their life cycle in one year. They grow relatively tall, often reaching heights of 2 to 4 feet, and are known for their delicate, fern-like foliage.
• Attractiveness to Wildlife: Picotee Cosmos are highly attractive to pollinators like butterflies, bees, and birds, making them excellent for wildlife gardens. Their nectar-rich flowers support biodiversity by providing food for insects.
