About This

Plant Appearance: This variety pack includes blueberry, boysenberry, and blackberry starter plants. Blueberries offer rounded green foliage with blue fruit, boysenberries are large almost seedless fruit, and blackberries present thick canes with glossy black fruit.
Sunlight Requirements: Berry plants thrive in full sun, requiring at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Adequate sunlight ensures vigorous growth, better flowering, and high fruit yield throughout the growing season.
Watering Needs: Keep soil consistently moist but never waterlogged. Deep watering 1–2 times per week is ideal, especially during the fruiting period. Mulching around the base can help retain moisture and reduce weeds.
Soil Preferences: These berry bushes prefer well-draining, slightly acidic soil with nutrient-dense content. Raised beds or amended garden soil with peat or pine bark can improve drainage and acidity for better root development.
Growth Habit & Maturity: Blueberries form compact, bushy shrubs reaching 3–5 feet tall. Blackberries form upright clumps. Most varieties begin fruiting in their second year.
