About This

• Distinctive Appearance: Fairytale Pumpkins, also known as Musquée de Provence, are a visually striking heirloom variety with deeply ribbed, flattened, and slightly squat fruits, boasting a rich, bronze-orange rind when mature.
• Flavor and Culinary Use: They offer a sweet, velvety, and dense flesh with a nutty undertone, perfect for pies, soups, and roasting, often compared to butternut squash in taste and texture.
• Size and Growth: These pumpkins can grow to 15-20 pounds, thriving on vigorous vines that require ample space, full sun, and well-drained, fertile soil, typically maturing in 100-120 days.
• Historical Roots: Originating from the South of France, this variety has been cherished since the 19th century for both its ornamental appeal and exceptional eating quality, embodying a "fairytale" charm.
• Quality: Fresh seeds for the current & following season that originate from a temperature & moisture-controlled facility.
• Quantity: Generous seed counts allow you to share with friends and family or easily store the extras for next season.
