About This

  • Brassica Oleracea Var. Botytis: Sow these open pollinated cauliflower seeds outdoors in the mid-spring to produce a summer harvest, or a bit later for a late summer or autumn harvest. Sow 2 seeds together and thin to 1 plant every 2 feet when plants are about 1" tall. A rich soil, high in nutrients, is important to growth so side-dress with fertilizer every 3-4 weeks.
  • An Easier Harvest - Snowball Cauliflower is self-blanching so no tying is necessary. Frequent watering every 5-7 days should yield good looking 6-12" heads. When harvesting cut with a knife preserving some leaves around the head for protection.
  • Premium Packaging - All seeds from The Old Farmer’s Almanac are packaged in individually styled packets ideal for gifts, storage or immediate use. Each packet displays the flower, vegetable, plant or herb variety on the front with instructions and plant facts on the back.
  • Packet Contents - Each 3 Gram packet contains approximately 450 premium, open pollinated, non-GMO, heirloom vegetable seeds. (See photos on this page of packet and contents.)
  • Freshly Packed - These seeds are packed for the current growing season and will provide high germination rates next year as well.
