Beautiful - Large premium packet of Delicata Squash (Cucurbita pepo) seeds. Add color and texture to your garden with these pretty long, pale cream squash with delicate green stripes and specks. Minimum of 5 g per packet (about 35 seeds).
Productive - Squash germinates in 5-10 days when soil temps are 65-75°F. Plant 1” deep and space 36” apart in an area with full sun. This variety will grow 10-12” tall with a spread of 24-28”. Squash will mature in 80-100 days, plant in USDA zones 3-9.
Good Eats - This unique winter squash has tender, edible skin and pale yellow flesh that tastes much like a sweet potato. Full of fiber, potassium and other nutrients, the flavorful Delicata is wonderful when roasted and makes a perfect side dish! Easy-to-grow at the peak of the summer season for a tasty fall harvest. 1-3 pound fruits store well throughout cool weather.
