About This

Quick Maturity: Snowball Y Improved cauliflower matures in about 80 days, making it a relatively fast-growing option for gardeners eager for a harvest.
Self-Blanching: This variety is known for its self-blanching leaves that naturally wrap around the head, reducing the need for manual tying to protect the curd from sunlight, which keeps it white and flavorful.
Size and Quality: Expect heads to grow about 6-8 inches in diameter, offering well-rounded, smooth, white curds that are perfect for both home gardens and market sales, with each head weighing around 3 to 5 pounds.
Adaptable Growth: While it prefers cooler temperatures, Snowball Y Improved can adapt to various climates, although it thrives best in conditions where temperatures hover between 57-68 degrees Fahrenheit.
