About This

Italian Heirloom Broccoli – Di Cicco broccoli is a time-tested heirloom broccoli introduced in 1890. Plants produce a 3–4 inch central head followed by abundant tender side shoots, delivering multiple harvests from a single planting.
Heavy Side-Shoot Producer – After cutting the main head, di cicco broccoli continues producing sweet, slender stems and small florets for weeks. These tender shoots are similar to broccolini in texture and flavor, making them excellent for roasting, steaming, or fresh spring dishes.
Dependable Cool-Season Variety – This vigorous heirloom performs beautifully in spring and fall gardens, tolerating light frost and maturing earlier than many modern hybrids. Compact plants are well-suited to backyard beds and succession planting.
Safe Seeds – We aim to offer the best heirloom broccoli seeds available. Our chemical-free, USA-grown, non GMO seeds are regularly tested to ensure at least 85% germination. Whether you prefer starting di cicco broccoli indoors or sowing directly in the garden for a cool-season crop, you can be confident your seeds will get off to a strong start. Should you encounter any problems, we’ll happily make it right. We want to help make your garden a success.
Convenient Packaging – Durable packet protects seeds from light and moisture, extending seed viability for years. Resealable zipper tops make for convenient storage and planting. Sow what you need today, seal and store the rest for later. Your broccoli seeds will remain viable on the shelf for years.
