About This

HARDY & ADAPTABLE: Reaching 10 inches tall, our Gaillardia Pulchella Sundance Cream blanket flower seeds are suitable for borders, beds, and wildflower gardens. These annual seeds grow well in USDA Zones 3 – 10 and perform across a range of climates, adapting to both cooler northern regions and warmer, drier areas with proper care.
VIBRANT & LONG BLOOM SEASON: Vibrant cream blooms measuring 2 to 3 inches appear from summer through fall. The extended flowering period adds consistent seasonal interest to gardens, making our Gaillardia wildflower seeds a colorful addition to outdoor spaces during the warmest months of the year.
HEAT & DROUGHT-TOLERANT: Designed for full sun exposure, our drought tolerant wildflower seeds grow well in lean, well-drained soil. Once established, they tolerate dry climates and heat, making them a suitable addition of flower seeds to plant outside in low-water gardens, xeriscaping projects, and areas where traditional flowers may struggle.
ATTRACT POLLINATORS: Gaillardia is generally not favored by deer, making it a suitable choice for gardens where browsing pressure is a concern. Its colorful blooms attract butterflies, bees, and other helpful pollinators, adding seasonal interest and movement to outdoor planting spaces throughout the growing season.
EASY TO GROW & MAINTAIN: When you plant seeds, direct sow our Gaillardia garden seeds outdoors after the last frost, covering lightly with 1/8 inch of soil. Keep soil consistently moist during germination. Space plants approximately 14 - 18 inches apart, or use a broadcast sowing method for larger areas to allow room for airflow and strong, healthy plant development.
